A 62-year-old patient had diabetes,
hypertension, heart disease, and gall bladder-related disease. After the
restoration of premolars, he was recommended to get 2 implants (in the missing
area and root cracked 1st molar). But he didn’t visit the
clinic anymore. Eventually, he made up his mind to get implant installation
after a long hesitation because of a root crack. (GClgc)

Indentation as an entry spot was
given with a diamond bur in the middle of the septum.
Implants were placed after serial

and a direction pin was screwed into the
implant to check its path.

Torque value at the 1st molar and 2nd molar zone. The fixture in the 2nd
molar showed poor initial stability despite less drilling. It was barely 10Ncm.
GBR (Xenograft)
The surgical site was covered with collagen membranes. A
healing abutment was engaged in the immediately placed implant.
The flap was sutured close.
